Natural Cinnamon Muesli

Jamey Cinnamon Muesli

 

I love school holidays as the house seems to run at a more relaxed pace, which may have something to do with my 16 and 12 year old sleeping in till mid morning. It also gives me the opportunity to experiment with new healthy recipes for the kids. This Natural Cinnamon Muesli is a spin off of my super easy Protein Crunch recipe. Don’t be too concerned about the dried fruit.  The Cinnamon is going to counteract the sugars in the fruit due to the high protein and cinnamon content!

  • High Protein
  • Gluten Free
  • Free from refined sugars
  • Dairy Free (when using Vegan Blend)

Ingredients

1 – 2 scoops of Coconut WPI or PPI Protein Blend

1 cup of almonds (soaked overnight and rinsed)

5 mejool dates (seeds taken out)

1/4 cup of sultanas (no sulphates)

1/3 cup of mixed seeds (chia, flax, sunflower)

1 tablespoon organic cinnamon powder

1/4 cup dried coconut

Method

Place all ingredients into a food processor and blitz until the desired consistency. Ingredients should be combined. I personally like the museli chunky!

 

Toppings

Jamey has layered her muesli with in season mango, almond milk and coconut cream. She also loves blueberries and cashew milk!
