Citrus Protein Balls – From Ride Like a Girl

I know we post a lot of  “Protein Ball Recipes”  they happen to be  Vitality Nutrition’s most popular recipe posts! I don’t think we can ever get enough of these little rolled up gems.

They tick all the boxes for a sweet, high protein snack! You can take them anywhere, they are all natural, give you lasting energy and taste delicious!

This scrumptious recipe was created by Jessica at Ride Like a Girl


2 large scoops Coconut Vegan Blend Protein

1 cup pitted dates

1/3 cup mixed nuts

1/3 cup sunflower seeds

1 lemon zest and juice

1 passion fruit pulp

1/2 ripe avocado

1 tablespoon coconut cream

1 teaspoon rice malt syrup (optional)

1 dash vanilla essence

seed mix or shredded coconut for coating the balls in


Place all dry ingredients into a food processor  and blitz into a nut meal.

Then add wet ingredients, blitzing until you get a peanut butter consistency

Roll ingredients in to small balls and coat with nut mix or shredded coconut.

Store in fridge to set or freezer!
