Chia Protein Bar

I am amazed at the plethora of so called “Health Protein” Bars on the market today!  I don’t know about you, am I the only one that wonders “Whats is actually in these low fat, no fat, no carb flavour filled Protein Bars?”  Look at the labels and the long list of ingredients that are impossible to announce!

This Protein Bar recipe was inspired by a customer who found this recipe on the internet  and wanted to know how she could incorporate her “Vitality Nutrition Protein” into the protein bar to give it some added nutrition.

  • High Protein
  • Gluten Free
  • Vegan (when using Vegan Protein Blend)
  • Dairy Free (when using Vegan Protein Blend)
  • Post workout snack


2 scoops Coconut Protein Blend

4 medjool dates chopped (pips removed)

1/2 cup chia seeds

2-3 tablespoons coconut oil (melted)

1 teaspoon organic cinnamon



Place all ingredients in to a food processor.

Blitz until combined and ingredients sticks together. You may need to add extra coconut oil if too dry.

Press all ingredients into a lined baking tray and place in the fridge to set. Once solid, remove from tray and cut into desired shape. Store in fridge in airtight container.
