Made with Love
by: wme_admin on
It’s a common saying in our house and you can taste the difference… but what does it mean?
Making something with love is about understanding the significance of what you are doing and enjoying that responsibility. Any of life’s chores can either be done on autopilot or done with care and pride. If we mow the lawns in a hurry we miss a few spots, leave a few weeds, it’s no real biggy…..only you know and it’s an easy fix next time. Not so with preparing meals.
Preparing meals is a common job and as such we have become desensitized to the implications of a “good” or a “bad” meal. This is due to the frequency of the job (meal preparation) and the many fast food options.
Slow down and take the time to reset some basic values.
Do not underestimate the importance of what we eat. Stop taking food for granted, every meal is special, it makes us who we are, how we look, how we feel and behave. At any mealtime we are feeding the ones we are responsible for, or more importantly the ones we love. (Note: This includes cooking for yourself)
Understanding the significance of the food we eat and the importance of every meal means “Made with Love” is an everyday common saying in our house.
